Rachel Bilson, AKA Summer Roberts on the hit TV show The O.C. Dropped out of college after one year on her fathers advice to persue an acting career. Good fatherly advice it proved to be.

Her first on screen acting foray was in Buffy the Vampire Slayer in 2003.  Prior to that she'd done several commercials (Raisin Bran, Subway, Pepto-Bismol). By August of that year she'd been cast in The O.C. and her character Summer Roberts was only intented to be a temporary character. However plans soon changed after Bilson grabbed everybody's attention.

Bilson's latest film appearance is Jumper(2008). She has also appeared in The Last Kiss(2006) and is currently filming New York, I Love You(2009). Rachel has been quoted as saying that she prefers acting in feature films to appearing on television, and that she would like the kind of roles “that Natalie Portman and Scarlett Johansson are offered.” We don't think they'll be much of a problem there.
