She's been all over every red carpet in Hollywood of late. But hardly anybody knows her. That's because she starred in a role where her face was never shown. Avatar, the blockbuster and Golden Globe award winner, starred Zoe Saldana as Neytiri. We only ever got to hear her voice which is a shame as Zoe is one of the hottest girls out there!

Film buffs will know her from roles in Pirates of the Carribean, Star Trek, Vantage Point and Constellation. Born in NJ on June 19th, 1978 she moved to the Dominican Republic when she was 10 for the next seven years. There she studied Ballet before moving back to the States when she was 17. Performing with the Faces theater troupe she was spotted by a talent agency. That landed her a role as Eva in Center Stage (2001). Nine years later and a string of movies under her belt and she's tearing up the screen as a blue skinned freak of nature.

Readers will be glad to know that in Avatar, there was a sex scene. 'Was' because the scene was deleted. James Cameron, director, said "I think it's one of those cases where the fantasy vastly exceeds the reality." That's what most of my girlfriends have said too, but we still wanna see it! Zoe at least agrees, saying at Critics Choice "It's worth it, especially now we're living in a time where there's not enough affection and sexuality in movies. I miss the '80s!"

Zoe has just been signed as the new face of Avon's perfume Eternal Magic. Of her selection for the perfume, Zoe said “It means so much to me to be associated with a company that shares my values and believes in empowering women.”

Huh? It's only perfume, right?
