We couldn't agree why. Maybe it was the attitude. Or the mesmerizing booty. Maybe it's because we love the idea that a hottie can end up with someone that's carrying a few extra pounds.
Either way, we were all agreed that Leah Remini is one hot babe. She played the part of Carrie Heffernan in The King of Queens sitcom. Married to Doug Heffernan (Kevin James) Carey is regularly dishing out attitude to both her husband, his friends and anyone else that crawls onto her wrong side. We all know somebody like that.

Leah was born June 15, 1970 in Brooklyn, New York. She spent 13 years there until the family moved across country to Los Angeles. She must have picked up the Hollywood bug, because one year later at 14, she left school to work as a waitress while auditioning for acting jobs.
Her first TV appearance came in Head of the Class in the 80's and afterwards she played bit parts in Cheers, Saved by the Bell and Friends. It wasn't until 1998 that she landed the roll of Carrie on the new CBS show, The King of Queens. The hit comedy sitcom provided her with worldwide fame and the series ran until 2007. It's still being syndicated worldwide with huge success.

In 2003 Leah married actor Angelo Pagán - who also appeared on The King of Queens as the character Rico (remember him? The Ladies man?). 2004 saw the birth of a beautiful baby girl, Sofia Bella. The birth was chronicled by VH1 in a documentary called Inside Out: Leah Remini the Baby Special. As always, our advice is that unless your going to be a proud dad anytime soon, all birth documentaries should be given a wide berth. Very wide.

Leah is a member of the Church of Scientology. Speaking to CNN in 2005 she said of criticisms levelled at her for her membership that "If somebody is going to get turned off about something because of what they read or heard, then that person's not smart enough to even enter a church. If you're really against something, then know what you're against."
She's works with several charities including the New York Rescue Workers Detoxification Project (for 9-11 workers), the Police Activities League in LA and the Elizabeth Glaser Pediatric AIDS Foundation. Since The King of Queens ended, Remini has been busy on the production side of the film industry. Partnering with VH1 for her own birth documentary (one of the most successful specials VH1 ever had!) she also produced some web based episodes for In The Motherhood. She's currently scripting some highly secret entertainment projects.
