Austalia managed to keep Miranda Kerr secret until the Victoria's Secret found her and introduced her to the world.

We are forever indebted to Victoria's Secret for sharing their treasure. Miranda Kerr was actually the first Australian addition to Victoria's Secret Campaigns. She'd been around on the fashion scene in Australia since 1997 having won s model search hosted by Dolly Magazine and Impulse Fragances when she was just thirteen years old.

Expanding her career to international fame meant a move to New York in 2003. Some runway appearances led to the fashion chain Next signing her in 2004. Her exposure soon meant loads of work with labels such as Jets,Blumarine Swimwear,Baby Phat and Levi's amongst a host of others. In 2006 she signed a contract with Maybelline New York. The ads ran in in international women's magazines including Cosmopolitan and ELLE.

Dubbed "the next MacPherson" she has the world at her feet.Her trademark dimple's, girl next door look and  high intellegince make a winning package. She is currently after signing as the face of Californian fashion retailer Arden B and also Australian deparment store David Jones.

She's reportedly writing a self help book title 'Treasure Yourself' - aimed at females. According to Miranda:

" ...my true passion in life is health and nutrition and for the past 8 years I have researched the subject. For those of you who are interested, my book is basically a summary of what I have not only learned in relation to health and nutrition but what I have personally practised and what has worked for me to obtain and maintain optimal health and fitness. It is currently about 65% complete and I expect to release it early next year (if not before). This, of course, will depend on my schedule, but as I progress I will keep you all posted through my website."
