Honey pot Rachel McAdams - It could be the big perfect smile, the bright sparkling eyes. It might be the total absence of any bad press or even the whiff of scandal. Maybe it's the girl next door look. Whatever it is, she got it. Rachel was born in London, Ontario, Canada (17th November, 1978) and grew up in the nearby city of St. Thomas. She took up acting at age 12 and has been pretty much at it non-stop since.

She played a leading role in The Hot Chick (2002) with Mean Girls and The Notebook following in 2004. She began dating The Notebook co-star Ryan Gosling but they split in 2007. Wedding Crashers (2005) saw her play the part of Owen Wilson's love interest. Her latest film, Guy Ritchie's Sherlock Homes, was released on Christmas Day, 2009.

Somewhere along the way, the girl developed a compulsion to change her hairstyle every time her photograph was taken. We've never seen so many frigging hairstyles on one girl. The hairdresser bills must be horrendous.

And just in case you think hairstyles are the bad bit, Rachel isn't adverse to some stalking herself:

"The craziest thing I've ever done to get a guy's attention? I admit I stalked someone. I showed up at a restaurant where I knew the guy worked, and we were actually good friends and had lost touch, and I pretended that I didn't know he worked there. And then ran into him and, "Oh my God, you work here? I had no idea." It's the most manipulative thing I've done in my entire life, but it all worked out very well, so I have no regrets."
