Just woke up and realized we're on the brink of summer? Want to look uber-cool? Get yourself some shades. Sunglasses don't really move much in fashion. Over the past five years, the biggest trend has been towards oversized sunglasses.
That trend is still ongoing though in 2008 that trend has been refined somewhat with the emphasis on soft and subtle frames with throwbacks to the 70's and 80's in styling. When choosing sunglasses, try have the rim of the glasses follow the natural line of your eyebrow (If it will be visible). Glasses look a lot more natural on the face if you can find a pair that ticks that box. Here se pick out some designer shades that will have you looking cool. Emporio Armani Sunglasses
Aviator style. Think Tom Cruise from Top Gun and you're on the right fashion trend. $251
Ray Ban Aviator Did you know Ray Ban came up with the aviator style in the 1930's? These are a classic remake of that look and good value at $180.
Dolce & Gabbanna A mix of the Aviator and the 70's. Think Harrisson Ford with the oversized rims. This is the youngest line by Dolce & Gabbanna and priced at $251 Pirelli
Wrap around shades are not completely out of fashion. The braver amongst us might try these Pirelli shades. Sturdy looking with a hint of oversized glasses we think their a solid purchase. $180 |
