The Times online is reporting a new fashion craze among fashion conscious men - high heels. Dubbed the man-heel or 'meel', the heel has been spotted at men's fashion shows in New York, London and Paris and not just on the catwalk either. While the meel started out in gothic and glam devotees, its influence is spreading to more mainstream lines - TopMan and Dior Homme both getting in at an early stage.
A man's ring should never be the first item to catch the eye. As with most accessories for men, they should add to the overall look, rather than be the look. Rings are one of those items that men rarely, if ever, purchase for themselves. But the right ring can be a subtle yet powerful addition to any image, particularly if you want to drop a hint of personal wealth.
The history of boots are rooted in hardwearing foot protection. Cowboys, armies, miners, farmers, industrial workers and just about any manual occupation have a particular style of boot associated with them.
Hats are an item of clothing often overlooked by men. We can grow up with one type of hat through school, college and into our working life. If it doesn't match our current attire, its left behind. Necklaces have been made since man discovered how to make a loop. Down though the ages they've been fashioned from ornate materials or precious materials. So leather, pebbles, shells and beads have all featured in the non-metal neclaces. The most common precious metals used for mens necklaces are gold, silver and platinum.
