 Amanda Leigh Moore (born 10th April 1984) has talent coming out her ears. A pop singer, songwriter, actress and fashion designer she grew up in Orlando, Florida.
As a teenager Moore performed the National Anthem at several events and was known as the 'National Anthem Girl'. She toured with the Backstreet Boys in 1999 and her first Album was released at the end of that year. It reached a very respectable number 31 on the charts. Her second Album 'I wanna Be with You' was released shortly afterwards in May 2000, and the third self titled album in 2001. In 2006 Moore revealed she was less than happy about her early albums commenting they were 'just awful'.  In tandem with her music career Mandy Moore worked hard at her acting career. She had her own half hour show on MTV in 2000/2001 (The Mandy Moore Show) and a small part in The Princess Diaries in 2001. Her first major role was in 'A Walk to Remember' in 2002, in which she co-starred with Shane West. It helped establish Moore as a lead actress and at the MTV Movie Awards that year Moore won the award for 'Breakthrough Female Performance'. She subsequently appeared in How to Deal(2003), Chasing Liberty(2004) and Saved!(2004).  In 2006 she appeared in The Simpsons playing Tabitha Vixx (More details here) and American Dreamz.

Mandy Moore now runs her own fashion label under the brand name Mblem. It specialises in knitwear and cashmere and is sold in over 500 shops including Ron Herman and Lisa Kline and some department stores. Her website can be found at mandymoore.com.
