Slingshots have come a long way since you were young. Wrapping rubber bands around a 'Y' stick got us by, but in the noughties we need something more modern and space age.
The current batch of slingshots feature a whole host of features that allow you to land your hit further, faster, harder and more accurately than ever before. Fibre optic sights, stabilizers, wrist braces, ammo feeders and steel frames are just some of the features available.
With all slingshots a few things worth noting. Flat stones don't travel as far or a accurately as rounded stones. Steel balls, widely available from slingshot suppliers, are best. The most common types areĀ 1/4", 5/16", 3/8" steel shots. 1/2" Marble Shot are also available. Wrist guards to protect the wrist and lower forearm are highly recommended!
PS-52 Laser Slingshot
Billed as the worlds first laser sighted slingshot this bad boy will set you back over $50. Money well spent? Absolutely. It has the ability to accurately deliver shots over 60 feet away with a simple laser guided aiming system. It does'nt look simple but once you shot twice its second nature. ITs billed as more powerful than an airpistol. We found this at http://www.catsdomain.com/
Barnett Pro-Diablo Slingshot
Contains a 3 piece stabilizer, an adjustable sight and a soft touch grib. Very easy and comfortable to use. Delivers great shot power in our opinion. Priced at the $30 mark
Barnett Black Widow Slingshot
The best cheap slingshot we could get our hands on. From as little as $10 this little baby delivered incredible shots. Thankfully it now comes with a wrist brace as previous incarnations left your arm red raw.

Crosman Firestorm
Looks incredibly modern and has a number of cool features. Easy clips for putting on the rubber bands are a great time saver, and a stell ball feeder that places ammo straight into your hand. Costing around $20 great for looks but couldn't deliver shots as far as the slingshots above.
