OntFront has released its Fall-Winter Collection for 2010, inspired by sleek sports cars like Lamborghini and Spyker. Called 'Shift Gear,’ this is a dark collection, fitting perfectly into the city night. The two-tone jackets and meshing of leather and cloth sit well with cool wines, bright reds and splashes of eggwhite. The awful moustaches and driving gloves will be forgiven by most.
This collection stands out for the blazers and jackets. The blazers are predominantly black creations with a clean tailored cut. Slick and easy to match with any existing wardrobe. The creation on the right holds just enough of the military theme with its large double breasted buttons, but at the same time the addition of zips, collar strip and diagonal pockets has pushed it past the waning military trend in men's fashion. The sweaters, with their easy-on-the-eye lines are worth a look, particularly the two and three tone coloured ones.
Liza Koifman, head designer said "I’ve always had a love for the aesthetics of car design. Spyker, Lamborghini - The aerodynamic lines and forms of fast cars are the basis for this collection of OntFront."
